Vans is a manufacturer of shoes, established in Cypress, California.
The company also produces T-shirts, hats, backpakcs and other things. Vans is also active in the actions sports industry and sponsors skateboard, surf, snow, BMX, and motocross teams.

 On March 16, 1966 in Anaheim, California, the brothers Paul Van Doren and James Van Doren and other people opened the first Vans store under the name "The Van Doren Rubber Company"

 Next, the company grew and now it's one of the most important industries of shoes in the world.

The Physician's Tale

This is a domestic drama about the relationship between a daughter and her father and it is one of the earliest poems in English about such subjects and relationships. Virginius, a nobleman of Rome, has a beautiful, fourteen-year-old daughter. She is spotted one day by a judge, Appius, who decides he must have her and forms a plan. His accomplice, a "churl" by the name of Claudius, claims in court that Virginia is his run-away slave and Appius decrees that her real father must relinquish her to the court. Virginius goes home and tells his daughter he must kill her to protect her honour. She resigns herself to her fate and swoons, and he cuts her head off. He takes her head to the court and when Appius demands his exucution for murder, the populace instead rises up and deposes the corrupt official. Appius kills himself in jail, but Virginius spares Claudius' life and condemns him to exile instead.  The Physician's Tale is usually regarded as an early work of Chauce...

                                                    HALLOWEEN Halloween is a date celebrated on the night of October 31st. Its celebration is most practised in the United States and Canada. Children wear costumes and they go to peoples' homes saying "Trick or treat!" to ask for candy, sweets in the United Kingdom, or lollies in Australia, and then people give it to them. This practice originally involved a threat. A threat is when someone says that they will do something bad if they do not get what they want. In this case the threat could be explained as: "Give me a treat or I will play a trick on you." Children today usually do not play tricks if they do not get treats. However, some children still get up to mischief (pranks or things to make fun of people; like putting toilet paper in trees; writing on windows with soap or throwing eggs at peoples' houses)...
